Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine who is currently in Kenya has stated that president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni three decades rule is about to come to an end.
Appearing on Citizen TV JKLive program, Bobi Wine said it doesn’t matter how Museveni will go but his end is near.
“Whichever way it ends for Museveni his end is near,” the musician comes singer said.
He added “Freedom comes to those who fight not those who cry because the more you cry the more your people continue to die so rise and defend your rights.”
Comparing Idi Amin Dada to president Museveni, Bobi Wine said much as he did not see Idi Amin, he believes Museveni is worse because Amin did not run down the country’s infrastructure.
“I did not see Idi Amin but I think Museveni is worse; he has misruled us longer than Idi Amin and he has messed up everything that Amin did; Idi Amin was a dictator but he did not destroy the infrastructure, he did not condone corruption,” Bobi Wine argued.
On his relationship with Dr Kizza Besigye he said that he is still working closely with Dr. Besigye and all other forces of change in Uganda.
He added, “I hated being called a politician because where I come from the word politician lost meaning; the word politician means lying and manipulating people.
When asked which type of president would be the vocal legislator said Ugandans want a servant leader and not a ‘boss leader’.
“Museveni disrespected Ugandans by telling us bluntly that he is nobody’s servant. The people of Uganda are here to remind him that he is supposed t be a servant of the people; we are not supposed to fear him, he is supposed to fear us,” he said.
