The Chief of Defence Forces General David Muhoozi has asked every Ugandan to play a part in ensuring that Uganda is safe for everyone.
While appearing on NBS, the army commander said the forces will work order of civilians adding that UPDF will not dance to public criticisms.
The general added that the UPDF is still on the right track despite recent widespread criticism from public over the manner which the army handled Arua by-election fracas and brutal arrest in Kampala.
Muhoozi who condemned the manner in which one Yusuf Kawooya was arrested by men in uniform noted that that the army will not rest until sanity returns to the city and country at large.
Recently, the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) has been in the news for bad deeds especially in regards to brutal arrest of suspects especially for one Yusuf Kawooya who was captured in a video that went viral on social media.
The incident followed brutal arrests and torture of Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine and other people in Arua town following the clashes between opposition and ruling NRM supporters.
