Senior Presidential adviser on media, Joseph Tamale Mirundi, has blamed foreigners for using Bobi Wine to topple president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Government. Murundi says the reason Museveni is using social media is because he want to send clear message to those who are against his government.
“President Museveni is using the same social media he taxed to communicate, this shows that the people who are targeting him aren’t here, they are foreign,” Mirundi said while appearing on NBS TV.
He also blamed security forces of inflicting body injuries on the suspects who were arrested in Arua and called on the army to discipline all those found culpable.
“You can’t bring Bobi Wine, Hon. Francis Zaake and Gen. Kale Kayihura to court on the same day when they are in an opposite physical state, what kind of PR is that? They should have waited to show them to the world.”
He says the chaos elevated Bobi Wine to a level of political messiah adding that his music is now talk of the town. He branded Bobi Wine a very lucky man whose fortune he says can drive him to presidency.
He revealed that the reason Museveni granted bail to Bobi Wine and other suspects is because he feared he might be disposed off by angry people.
He says as Museveni is busy thinking of Bobi Wine, his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta was busy having high level meeting with US president Donald Trump.
