Special Force Command military raids Bobi Wine camp, arrest several

Special Force Command (SFC) soldiers have arrested several aides and assistant to the detained Kyadondo East member of parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine. It is unclear why the army has decided to arrest the individuals who have been working with Bobi Wine. The latest individual to be arrested is Eddie Mutwe who have been working as Bobi Wine body guard.

According to reports from Ghetto camp, Bobi Wine assistants Eddie Mutwe has been taken to an unknown destination with other 3 friends reportedly gone missing and their phones switched off. It’s allegedly Eddie was picked up by SFC in plain clothes in the wee hours of Saturday and driven off to undisclosed location.

The arrests by army come days after the General Court Martial dropped charges of illegal possession of fire arms and ammunition against the Ghetto president.

 Bobi Wine was arrested a long side other legislator from Arua town following the chaos that erupted between opposition and NRM supporters. The arrested suspects have been tortured following the arrest and were later charged of treason before Gulu Chief Magistrate Court.

 The latest arrests of Bobi Wine aides has created fears and panic within the supporters of Kyadondo East legislator because the arrested suspects could not be traced and the reason for their arrests have remain scanty.
