As the country is still in shock following the brutal murder of International Hospital Kampala (IHK) employee Dr Catherine Agaba it has emerged that medical personnel has gone missing.
Decomposing body of the late Agaba was found dumped in a septic tank at her residence in Muyenga after she went missing on April 13, 2019, days after applying for annual leave on April 9.
Police said several people have been arrested in connection with her murder including a security guard Ronald Lubangakene and a US based Ugandan doctor identified as Andrew Ntambi.
“When we successfully traced for the security guard, he led us to the septic tank in Muyenga where the deceased was renting. We have already retrieved the body and it has been taken for postmortem at Mulago hospital,” Owoyesigyire said. He reportedly told police that he killed Agaba because she was reporting him to his boss for dodging work.
Just days after the tragic incident, it has emerged that another medical worker attached to Nsambya Hospital Mrs. Nabayunga Maria has gone missing.
According to family source, Nabayunga who was working at laboratory technologist went missing was last seen on Thursday last week at around 4:30Pm.
The family now asked whoever has seen her to report to the nearest police or inform Nsambya Hospital.
