Former Chieftancy of Military Intelligence (CMI), Gen David Sejusa aka Tinyefunza has urged opposition to unite and concentrate their pressure on defeating President Museveni first than thinking of negotiating with him.
Sejusa said Museveni is such a bully who can only sit to dialogue only if it has become clear to him that he cannot win or it is to his advantage to make a deal adding any attempt to start negotiation at this moment is diversionary.
“Those interested in negotiating with President Museveni must make him very weak first. A still strong Museveni cannot accept to negotiate his way out of power,” Gen Sejusa argued.
He told opposition not to look focus and continue to push for regime change in the country emphasizing that it is what Ugandans need at the moment.
He also warned those seeking for regime change in Uganda to be aware of several moles within their ranks who will be working to frustrate change in the country.
He added that the recent torture of some members of parliament in August during Arua town fracas is a sign that Museveni is beginning to panic. He asked opposition to add more pressure to make Museveni vulnerable so that he can be pushed out out of power by little force possible.
