After emerging winner of Uganda Christian University (UCU) guild elections with massive support, Timothy Kivunike Kadaga is gearing up to join “mature politics”.
This website has established that Kivunike, who also happens to be a son to Speaker Rebecca Kadaga is running for Youth MP Eastern Region is the upcoming general elections.
The UCU guild president, who is set to join his mother in parliament has already printed banners proving his intentions to join parliament. Kinunike will also be running under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, just like his mother Kadaga.
His banners are already making rounds on various social media platforms with his diehards explaining what he will be doing, if elected.
With a slogan “We can do better together,” Kivunike is already warming for the scientific campaigns that are in the pipeline.
We recently published an article about him when he came up to defend his mother following the 10B scandal that rocked parliament. The UCU leader told haters that his mother gave her UGX 20 million share to the people in her constituency.
His comment was followed by mixed reactions and some people loved the way he articulated issues, thus suggesting that he should join mature politics.
