News reaching info256 have confirmed that the Russian navy has started on their ambitious next-generation air craft carrier. The Russian ship building chief director has confirmed the news through an interview on the Russian TV Zvezda TV in their capital Moscow by saying that in the near future a Nuclear propulsion system will be up and running.
The new air craft carrier will be replacing the old, rusting and worn out Admiral Kuznesstsov built in the late 1980s characterized with multiple complication and malfunctions.
The navy designers have done a feasibility study and research on the carrier engines is already under way though numerous setbacks have been encountered in the process.
“This is very expensive but such a ship could be built” so says rear admiral.

According to Alex Kokcharov a special analyst in military hardware says the though the Russian army has been expanding on an alarming rate with multiple system and hardware upgrades since 2008 ever since the Kremlin based army faced huge humiliation losing war with Georgia, many elements still remain outdated and commonly referred to as ‘Soviet inheritance’ dating between 1970s and 1980s.
