Os Bar and Grill Boss Merlyn Omamteker is cursing life hell these days after unavoidable circumstances forced him to shut down his popular hangout located along Station Road in Entebbe Town.

The young man is stressed with a lot of thoughts on his head ever since Jamaican reggae Artiste Gyptian duped him in a musical concert that was slated to take place on December 26, 2017 at Peniel Beach Entebbe.

The young man spent over Shs400m plus to organize for the musical concert however Gyptian didn’t show up for the concert and his managers gave some funny excuses for not turning up. Since then Merlyn has been fighting tooth and nail to keep Os Bar operating until when he gave up because of choking rent coupled with the struggling economy that has forced Ugandans to resort to drinking Malwa at 2000 shillings.

Our reliable sources confirmed the closure of Os Bar and disclosed that Merlyn is working on relocating Os bar to a new facility near Umeme which they acquired.

“Hopefully by next year Merlyn will have relocated to the new facility to resume business. We sued Gyptian and his managers because Merlyn lost money. The case is currently in court and he (Merlyn) is waiting for a ruling from the judge here to be able to take that ruling to a court in America to be enforced. Some progress has been made as regards the case and we are confident that a travel ban will be issued against Gyptian and his managers so that they surface. What we have to do now is to advertise the case in papers and if they don’t respond, the judge will automatically rule against them” the source disclosed.

Meryln is seeking to recover Shs540m he lost in form expenses, business and profits. The joint used attract revelers from Kampala,  Wakiso, Mukono and even tourists always frequents the joint.
