Hon Hussein Kyanjo one of Uganda’s prominent speaker, known for speaking truth even if it hurts the big guns in government. Today while appearing on a local TV station morning program he was asked to briefly talk about the current situation in the country more so on the Arua incident and presidential motorcade which was stoned.
Museveni is a weak leader
The Arua By- election was seen as the toughest and the post was won by Wadri who was arrested together with Bobi wine A.K.A Hon Kyagulanyi Kyadondo East MP representative.
Its not in order to pelt the president with stones but its not in order for the president to go mingle with the people, so he has no excuse
He also went a head to criticize the president because its well known how big crowds behave. You cannot hold one person answerable for all activities done by the people in the crowd.
We predicted all these situations and we know exactly how they’re going to unfold. All these leaders you call strong are the weakest, President Museveni is one of the weakest leaders in the world.
Hussein went a head blaming the president for being a coward to hold dialogues which have been requested by the people and other Members of the family of Hon. Kyagulanyi.
We need a dialogue for our country on how to move forward, by the time the supreme leader realizes its time for talk it’ll be too late for him and his regime
Riots by Ugandans
There have been planned riots by the leaders of opposition who are against the unnatural and inhuman arrest of one Uganda’s leading politics icon Bobi wine. Hon Kyagulanyi commonly known by his alias Bobi wine was arrest in Arua when he had gone to campaign for independent candidate Wadri.
NRM rejects elections
The elections were termed as violent and the NRM party threatened to request the court to hold again a by-election after losing the election. Tiperu who was the NRM candidate lost the election by a big margin of more than 1500+ votes. While speaking to reporters Kasule lumumba said the NRM lost the elections because the women in the areas were threatened and thus didn’t turn up for voting making Tiperu vulnerable to loose the elections.
We are in Military regime
On the current situation Hon Kyanjo said as we no longer have politics in our country as every politician is subjugated to extreme torture when he/she show interest in ousting the president in an election.
Today, we don’t have politics any longer, we’re in a military government trying to show that we’re having democracy.
He further said the UPDF apology is due to the military being full of educated and intellectual officers and that the Ugandans and people of media should take it that it was not the president apologizing its was rather the military doing so to show who is in control of the country.
The president could not have written like that, i appeal to the press to accept that statement as it is, the military has officially apologized, the second stage is to bring the culprit to books.
Incase you missed : Businesses shutdown as protests breaks out in various parts of the country
People have been showing grievances as the way the Journalists and Ugandans were mistreated during the Monday violence’s and pro Bobi wine demonstrations (free bobi wine). It was not enough to say that the soldiers have been disciplined, further actions have to be done. Ugandans also need to witness them in court being given sentences to show that Human rights have to be respected.
