NRM silent majority in Kampala shocked opposition

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ruling National Resistance Movement party where shocked by the reception the president received in Kampala yesterday as the country witnessed what is popularly known as silent majority.

There was beehive of NRM activities across the city including the procession of NRM banning with supporters donning in yellow and marching across the streets of Kampala.

Unlike some days where it has always been said that the city center is filled by the opposition supporters, on Friday the entire city center was painted yellow.

As early as 11;am, Mr Museveni had started meeting different people who include; vendors at Nakasero Market, Old Taxi Park, Arcade Owners, PWDs Market, Kireka market, and Owino market.

Speaking at Owino Market, Museveni advised the locals to stop voting selfish leaders especially those in the opposition.

The latest moves by the president is considered as an attempt to contain the popular Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine who has huge supporters in Kampala especially youth.
