Uganda Singer Moses Saali commonly known as Big size Bebe Cool faced it rough last night at club Ambiance when angry fans chased him away from stage. The angry revelers accused the Kamwako singer for not standing in support of his fellow artist Bobi Wine who is currently facing treason charges following the scuffle in Arua town were the angry mob stoned president Museveni convoy. The same scuffle resulted to death of Bobi Wine driver Yasin Kavuma who was shot by security operatives.
Several musicians both local and international have been standing in solidarity with the detained vocal legislator. Bobi Wine has however, refused to stand in support of the detained comrade accusing him of being opposition sympathizer.
When Bobi Wine appeared on the stage, crowds shouted in loud voice urging him to leave immediately because he does not care about human rights.
“We don’t love you, we love Bobi Wine, go away, free Bobi, Free Bobi,” revelers shouted.
Attempt by club management to calm down the situation fell in deaf ear and Bebe Cool was left with no option but to leave the stage. The incident makes him the first Ugandan artist to face the wrath of the population following the political agreements.
