Museveni set date for cabinet reshuffle, leaked list stunned several ministers

News reaching our desk from state house indicates that, the old man in hat has finally said enough is enough and is expected to make the first cabinet reshuffle this term as early as October.

According to State House source, several ministers will be fired as president Museveni want to put up team that will counter Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine propaganda.

“The President will reshuffle his cabinet soon now that he has finished his countrywide tours on operation wealth creation. I cannot indulge into the details, but just know very many [ministers] are going to cry,” a source who preferred anonymity said.

News source also reveals that ministries that might be affected in this new reshuffle include; Ministry of ICT, Ministry of Lands, Attorney General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Works and Transport and others.

Museveni announced this cabinet three years ago on 2016 6th June shortly after his 5th term swearing-in as Uganda’s President.

The long rumoured Cabinet reshuffle has caused anxiety among politicians.

President Museveni is also likely to fill the 3 ministerial positions that have been vacant that include; Minister of State for Industry, Minister of State for the Elderly and Disability and Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations.
