Uganda Minister for Trade and Industry hon Amelia Kyambadde was on Tuesday this week attacked while speaking at a Nordic Uganda business conference in Oslo, Norway.

Ms Kyambadde was addressing Ugandans living in Norway who made U turn and accused her of being corrupt and incompetent.

Kyambadde who before joining elective politics served as President Museveni’s Private Secretary had earlier informed the gathering about NRM government’s plans to revive cooperative unions.

Video circulating on social media shows a man who grabbing microphone from the minister who was giving her speech and told the audience that she is corrupt and incompetent and cannot represent Uganda at such high level international gathering.

“She is very corrupt. These people are just there to lure you Europeans to bring money to Africa but they are the ones getting the money. They are very very rich. She is rich!” The man said

He added that Kyambadde also comes from Museveni’s ‘dictator family who looted the country for over years at the expense of the poor people.

Another man joined him and said that Ms Kyambadde and Museveni destroyed cooperatives in Uganda and should not lie people about reviving what they destroyed.

In another video circulating on social media, an angry Kyamadde is seen defending herself saying, “How could he say that? I am one of the people with the cleanest record.”

Kyambadde become the first Uganda minister to be attacked by Ugandans in diaspora over Museveni long stay in power and mismanagement of Uganda affairs.
