Police have charged Mr Enock Kato Kajubi, the Kabaka representative in Boston, USA, with inciting violence following his involvement in free Bobi Wine protests which rocked different part of the country and world over following alleged torture of Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and other legislators in Arua town.
Kajubi was arrested last month upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. His travel documents were confiscated and has since been blocked from leaving the country.
The Criminal Investigations (CID) preffered the charges against him and his file has since been sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for sanction.
Vincent Ssekatte, the CID spokesperson has confirmed the charges against Mr Kajubi, revealing that he has been charged alongside Mr Nasser Mugerwa who is also based in the United States..
Mr Kajubi who is the son of former Makerere University Vice Chancellor was arrested for mobilising Ugandans who are living in the United States to protest against the brutal arrests of Kyadondo East member of parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssemtamu popularly known as Bobi Wine a long with with other members of parliament who were tortured by the Special Force Command soldiers in Arua town.
Bobi Wine is currently receiving treatment in US hospital while his counterpart the Mityana municipality MP hon Francis Zaake is receiving treatment in India.
