There was a drama in Mbale High Court ahead of age limit case judgement after one the judge who was preparing final touches on the ruling found a threatening message written on a chit of paper and dropped in his chamber.
The scared judge whose name has concealed for security reason on reading the notice fled his chamber and took refuge in colleague’s camber.
The incident caused the delay in giving the verdict by more than one hour. According to source within the judiciary, the notice whose source could not be ascertained at the moment caused panics and fear within the judiciary.
This comes at the times when several high people were killed by unknown assailants with the latest being former member of parliament of Arua Municipality Ibrahim Abiriga who was also one of the key supporter of the age limit amendment bill.
