President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to announce a new cabinet reshuffle in which Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) Generals are set to land big positions in government.
Our info in State House reveals that some of Generals lined up for big positions include former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gen. Kale Kayihura, renegade UPDF Gen. David Ssejusa aka Tinyefuza, former Security Minister Gen. Henry Tumukunde and Brig. Gen. Ronnie Balya, who is the Ugandan ambassador to South Sudan.
General Sejusa has lived a quiet life since coming back from self imposed exile in UK. The four star General had fallen out with his boss after authoring a letter in 2014 alleging that, there is a plot to kill him and with Late General Aronda Nyakarima over Muhoozi project
Other long serving government officials who are set to be appointed to juicy positions include; First Lady and Sports Minister Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni, State Minister for Investment Hon. Evelyn Anite, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) minister Frank Tumwebaze, among others.
General Kayihura and General Tumukunde were in 2018 dropped as IGP and minister of security respectively.
The expected bouncing back of the two Generals which come as surprise as president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be looking at putting up a team to crush People Power Movement boss Bobi Wine.
