Former DP President General Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere has advised Kyadondo East member of parliament against having false hope in defeating President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Ssemogerere who contested against both Museveni and Obote said election organized by dictators do not represent the will of people.
“What i can tell my son Bobi Wine is i have contested for the presidency several times and i have realised all incumbents have one goal and that is not to leave power by just a mere election. Milton Obote and Yoweri Kaguta Museveni have no difference in being power hungry. An election will only help expose his weakness like how it gave a reason for museveni to go to the bush.” Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere said.
The remarks come shortly after Bobi Wine who declared interest in contesting against president Museveni told DP bloc MoU signing agreement that People Power believe president Museveni can deliver credible election that can be won by opposition.
He urged his supporters to go in large numbers and register for national ID so that they use it to take power from incumbent president Yoweri Museveni.
