For the past few days, there has been a campaign against social media bullying spearheaded by city socialite Sheila Gashumba and her boyfriend God’s Plan.
The campaign majorly targeted Urban TV’s Sqoop on Sqoop host Tina Fierce who Sheila and God’s plan accuse of spreading false information about them thereby tarnishing their names.
This campaign has received an endorsement from prominent public figures with the latest being Ministry of Health – Uganda Permanent Secretary, Dr Diana Atwine who has shown support to Sheila and Marcus revealing how there is need to Stop Social Media Bullying in Uganda.

Previously, Dr Diana Atwine criticized the manner in which some section of Ugandans were using social media to spread harmful propaganda.
Dr Atwine who on several occasions became a target of social media fake news was recently accused on the platform of owning several shopping malls in Uganda an accusations she later denied.
She was later accused on the same platform of clashing with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on COVID 19 testing results after president Museveni came out to state that some results were false.
