The Deputy Executive Director of Uganda Media Centre Colonel Shaban Bantariza has said president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and National Resistance Movement is still around despite the mounting pressure from oppositions.
Col Bantariza added that those thinking that president Museveni will handover power to opposition are just day dreamers who should get something else to do.
“I pity people who think NRM government will handover power, we would rather go back to the bush to sort these people,” Bantariza said.
He added: “I have my 3 guns on standby in my car, let Bobi Wine and his group continue with their kasukali, for us we don’t use Kasukali we use fire and indeed we shall use fire to put off that Kasukali to maintain peace.”
His statement comes as Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine has put up a strong challenge against president Museveni 35 years rule.
Bobi Wine accuses Museveni of being a dictator who does not want oppositions to freely enjoy the freedom of assembly as enshrined in the constitution.
