Latest reports indicates that Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi has on Monday October 15 tendered in her notice of resignation.
She cites the irreconcilable differences between the technical and political team as reason for her resignation!
Musisi was appointed as the Executive Director of KCCA by president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in 2011 after parliament passed a law to grant Kampala as an authority.
She had turbulent working relationship with Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and she championed the botched impeachment of Lukwago during his first term as Lord Mayor.
After losing most of the elective positions to opposition in 2016, president Museveni blamed Jenifer Musisi for loss. Musisi has since then taken a back seat living the minister of Kampala Beti Kamya to be at the frontline.
The resignation of Jenifer Musisi will not come as a shock to many.
She has in the past been accused of high handedness and brutality meted on the ordinary population. She has however, blames her troubles on the political wing arguing that her efforts is meant for betterment and facelifts of Kampala city.
