Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine has vowed to push president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni from power as soon as possible.
After holding a huge rally at Jakaranda Stadium in Nairobi, Bobi Wine who was flanked by his international lawyer Robert Amsterdam stated the liberation of Africa is on course.
“Thank you Kenya for the solidarity and brotherhood. Together with comrade Babu Owino and other Kenyan young Mps and Senators, we held a big rally at Jakaranda in Embakasi East Constituency and declared that we are going to continue getting together with other young leaders across Africa for the liberation of not only Uganda but the whole of Africa,” Bobi Wine posted on his Facebook page.
The musician cum politician has spent better part of this week in neighbouring Kenya where he addressed several groups of people including Kenya Young Parliamentarians, Kenya human rights commission among others.
Bobi Wine gained international popularity after being tortured and brutalised by security agencies while campaigning for Kassiano Wadri, an opposition leaning candidate in Arua municipality by-election in August.
He was arrested and charged in military court on charges of illegal possession of firearms only for charges to be dropped by state week later.
Bobi Wine is currently facing treason charges before Gulu High Court along with 33 others in connection with the Arua incident.
