People Power Movement popular activist Herbert Luyinda has gone missing according to the report. The incident comes during the time when Kyadondo East member of parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine is in Kenya.
People Power Movement, a pressure group headed by Bobi Wine has been growing in popularity in both Uganda and abroad especially after most of its candidates won the recent by-election.
Reports indicates that, Luyinda, 27, was at the fore front of organizing Bobi Wine’s visit to Kenya and was also instrumental in the ‘Tojikwatako’ campaign which was against the removal of presidential age limits.
Family sources told info256 that, the activist went missing hours before Bobi Wine landed in Kenya.
Sources further confirmed that last seen on the streets of Nairobi and is rumored to have been abducted although this is not confirmed.
“We are worried about Herbert, Hope all goes well as we continue to search for him,” said one of his colleagues who spoke to us.
This is the latest crackdown on People Power Movement following the recent incident in Arua which led to arrest of several people including People Power Movement boss Bobi Wine.
